Service providers must be agile, providing solutions that fit into the client’s business model. However, much of the focus is on setting up the initial service and making sure it works, with little consideration given to in-life enhancements, patches, or upgrades. IoT always is going to be a system in motion; it won’t be static so business offerings also must incorporate upgrade functionality or risk obsolescence.
